There’s something you should know about us: we can’t resist an open house. Call us nosy, but going to open houses is a good way to keep up with what’s happening in the local real estate market, plus, it’s just fun to look at other people’s houses. When the house across the street came up for sale and held its first open house, we hustled right on over.
There’s nothing I like more than a good before and after.
When we started renovating the condo a year ago, I couldn’t wait to see the before/after pictures. To compare them side by side. But when the condo was done and ready to be put up for sale, I couldn’t bring myself to do it, not right away anyway. It seems I’m still feeling pretty sentimental about the whole thing.
It’s not the renovation that bothers me–the place is gorgeous. It’s the fact that I’ll never get to enjoy the beautiful new place.
But on to bigger and better things, right? It’s finally time for that before/after post. And boy, what a transformation:
I love looking at photographs of beautiful rooms. Collecting images of spaces I love helps me define my own style and inspires me when the time comes to do some designing/decorating/renovating.
Today's inspiration? Bathrooms.

I chose this bathroom because the design is crisp and clean, yet peaceful.
